Stepping Stones to Inner Peace:
Take Care of Yourself

  • Whenever you become stressed, close your eyes and take five deep breaths. 
  • If you are trying to release smoking, drinking or eating sweets, every time that you feel the urge - take five deep breaths instead. 
  • Take time out to PLAY. We all take ourselves too seriously sometimes. 
  • Laugh, yawn or cry- these are all natural tranquilizers for the body. 
  • Take vitamins every day (unless, of course, you are allergic to them). 
  • Drink water or juices at meals instead of tea, coffee, beer or wine. 
  • Drink fruit juices only for one day per week. This helps the body to cleanse itself from the toxins of the average American diet. 
  • Cultivate a sense of humor. Laughter is as important to our physical, emotional and mental well-being as light is.
